Build practical skills to manage your land, livestock and business more holistically with this eight-day Holistic Management course.

Delivered across four two-day sessions, the course covers holistic decision making, planned grazing, financial planning, ecological monitoring and land planning, with time between sessions to apply what you learn on your own property.

Funding may be available through Rural Aid for eligible applicants.

Creating Holistic Context – a triple bottom line vision / the Decision-making Framework

  • Create a Quality-of-Life Statement

  • Create a Future Resource Base (holistic vision) for family / business, inclusive of community and environment

  • The Holistic Decision-making Framework to assist us in managing complexity to ensure our decisions are financially, socially and environmentally sound

  • Root causes of problems and our inability to manage complex situations

  • Dealing with change

  • The three pillars of learning – how to create passion

  • First things First - Steven Covey’s time management

  • Ecological monitoring – set up and implement a monitoring site
