Natural Capital Training Series
Understanding the Opportunities for Emissions Accounting on Farm
As greenhouse gas reporting and emissions reduction strategies become industry standard, understanding your farm’s emissions profile is no longer optional — it’s a strategic advantage.
Join BMRG for the first session in our Climate Smart Catchments: Natural Capital Training Series, designed to help Burnett Mary producers confidently navigate emissions accounting and emerging natural capital opportunities.
This interactive workshop will equip landholders with practical tools and baseline insights to better understand carbon performance, reduce emissions, and position their enterprises for future market and supply chain requirements.
Together, we’re removing barriers to participation in carbon, biodiversity and natural capital markets — strengthening both environmental and economic resilience across the region.
Why Attend?
Producers are increasingly being asked to report on greenhouse gas emissions. This session will help you:
Understand what emissions reporting means for your business
Learn how to measure and interpret your on-farm emissions baseline
Identify practical opportunities to reduce emissions
Explore pathways into natural capital and emerging environmental markets
Strengthen your supply chain transparency and future readiness
Participants will receive guided instruction in using the free Ruminati tool to assess emissions performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of your farm’s emissions profile — and practical next steps to enhance performance.
