Soil Carbon Sequestration
The Soil Carbon Sequestration project aims to develop a high-resolution, online decision support tool that maps soil carbon sequestration potential across Queensland under both current and future climate scenarios. This tool will support evidence-based decision-making for carbon farming and climate mitigation by identifying areas where soil carbon investment is most effective.
Over three years, the project will involve data collection, validation and the delivery of workshops to train stakeholders in using the tool.
