Priority Action and Planning

In 2003, the Burnett Mary Regional Group for Natural Resource Management was successful in gaining $1.7million to oversee the delivery of eight key Priority Action and Planning (PAP) activities under the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality.  An additional $600,000 was obtained for two PAP's under the Natural Heritage Trust in 2004.

These activites and the results they provide underpin the development of the accredited regional NRM Plan, Country to Coast - a healthy sustainable future.  Recommendations from these activities are currently being assessed to guide implementation priorities.
