Bouncing Rubber Vine out of the Baffle

Funding Available for Landholder Control of Rubber Vine

Landholders within the Baffle Creek Catchment are invited to apply for funding to assist with the costs of controlling rubber vine, Cryptostegia grandiflora, under the Bouncing Rubber Vine out the Baffle program funded through the Commonwealth Government's Caring for our Country.

Baffle Creek Catchment property owners interested in taking up the funding opportunity for up to 50% of the cash costs of control can 'throw their hat in the ring' by filling out an Expression of Interest (EoI) form and returning it to BMRG by 19th February 2010.

For an Expression of Interest form click here.

On receipt of the EOI a representative from either Gladstone Regional Council or BMRG will organise a property visit with the landholder, during which an application form and property pest management plan will be compiled.  Applications must be received by the end fo February for assessment.  Successful applicants will be notified immediately.  Control work funded through this program must be completed by the end of May 2010.

For further details contact either Nora Brandli at BMRG on 07 4169 0720 or Brett Cawthray at Gladstone Regional Council on 07 4974 6222.
