Naturally there is significant interest from Landholders seeking Reef Rescue co-investment in property improvements which benefit the enterprise and water quality in the Great Barrier Reef Lagoon. Unfortunately as interest far outweighs the funding available investment needs to prioritised.

 

The Burnett Mary Reef Partnership using best available science and industry input have developed a geographically defined area for investment. The first criteria for landholders wishing to apply for funding is that the property involved must be within the Priority Area 1 as designated by the map below.
