The Burnett Mary Reef Partnership involves three geographic partnerships to Cane industry adopt improved on farm practices that improve Reef Water Quality and farm sustainability. Reef Rescue Dairy The Dairy industry in the Burnett Mary Reef Partnership is supported by Queensland Dairy Farmers,Sub Tropical Dairy and the BMRG. Reef Rescue Grazing The Beef Industry component of the Burnett Mary Reef Partnership is delivered by the Burnett Catchment Care Association BCCA, Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee MRCCC, and the BMRG. Reef Rescue Horticulture Reef Rescue Horticulture Reef Rescue Priority Areas Priority ares for the Burnett Mary Reef Partnership for 2009/2010. Reef Rescue - Wetlands The Australian Government's Reef Rescue program recognises the important role that wetlands play to reduce diffuse pollution entering the Great Barrier Reef Lagoon. |
