BMRG Membership
The Burnett Mary Regional Group for Natural Resource Management Inc (BMRG) have
recently completed a thorough review of our membership process and it has been
determined that all future memberships will be accepted on an annual basis only,
commencing from 1 December to 30 November in each given year. Applications received
at any time during this period, will be valid for that current year only regardless
of the date the application was received. Please note sector criteria as follows:
Community Catchment - an organisation whose primary function is to promote catchment
management principles in the Burnett Mary region.
Community Coastal Management - an organisation whose primary function is to promote
Coastal Management principles in the Burnett Mary region.
Community Conservation - an individual or organisation within the Burnett Mary
region which considers Conservation principles as important to the future social
and economic well-being of the region.
Community Landcare - an organisation whose primary function is to promote Landcare
Management principles in the Burnett Mary region.
Community Traditional Owner - body or individual who identify themselves as indigenous
and/or traditional owners under the Native Title Act 1993.
Industry (Primary Burnett/Mary) - an individual/business or groups whose membership
comprises constituents undertaking primary production in the Burnett/Mary River
catchments. Members in this category should have a business name and ABN.
Industry (Secondary/Tertiary) - a small to medium enterprise or business undertaking
secondary or tertiary production or industry in the Burnett Mary region. Members
in this category should have a business name and ABN.
Local Government - an organisation defined as operating under the Local Government
Act 1993 and bound by associated regulations and having at least part of their
local government area located in the Burnett Mary region.
Please note cash will not be accepted by mail and we no longer accept postage
stamps as a form of payment.
