New website an information hub
A new website has been launched by the Burnett Mary Regional Group.
The Monitoring and Evaluation support site me.bmrg.org.au provides a hub of information for the Burnett Mary Region.
Dr Fred Bennett, Monitoring and Evaluation Scientist with the Group, said that
although the website was designed to help field officers, landholders and scientists,
it would be useful for anybody interested in monitoring the health of the region.
“It includes free software for Geographical Information Systems, maps of regional
ecosystems and catchments, links to property reports and even weed identification,”
he said.
“It also will help field officers who undertake programs such as Better Catchments,
Reef Rescue and Supergraze, and includes a range of “How to” Guides on using the
project management and Monitoring and Evaluation tools that have been provided.”
Dr Bennett said the website also provided helpful advice on using BMRG’s Project
database METRO.
“If you have any feedback on the website or want to make suggestions for additional
features and information, please let us know.”
