Land & Water Team – Grazing Extension Officer Position
Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

Extension, project management and planning skills / experience are a key requirement of this role. This entails planning project operational delivery, extensive extension for grazing practice change, tracking budgets and milestones, communications, meeting timelines and delivering contracted outputs and outcomes.

A high level of technical skills and experience is required including demonstrated understanding of natural resource management, grazing practices and extension to implement Better Beef for the Reef project, with a focus on water quality outcomes.

You will work directly with graziers, and in partnership with multiple groups and organisations such as community and catchment groups, government agencies to deliver NRM actions that align with the project.

Delivering one-on-one extension to graziers, coordinating and conducting workshops and training activities to improve knowledge and skills of landholders, and communicating the outcomes of the project are all important for this role.
